Welcome to TailText ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the TailText website and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

TailText is an AI-assisted writing and editing tool. The Service may include accounts, subscriptions and credits, an editor, AI generation/continuation features, and export features. We may add, modify, or remove features from time to time.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws.
• If you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your account and any activity that occurs under it.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of these Terms.

4. Subscriptions, Credits, and Payments

• Some features may require a paid subscription or the use of credits/tokens. Details shown in the product UI at the time of purchase (including pricing and quota/limits) are part of your agreement with us.
• Payments and subscription management may be handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details.
• To the extent permitted by law, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated otherwise.

5. Your Content and AI Outputs

• Your Content. You retain any rights you have in the content you write, upload, or otherwise submit to the Service ("User Content").
• AI Inputs/Outputs. When you use AI features, you may submit text and receive generated text (the "Output"). Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying Outputs before using them.
• Responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring your User Content and your use of Outputs comply with applicable laws and do not infringe others' rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to bypass limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
• Submit content that violates intellectual property rights or other rights of others.
